scrap487 Posted November 10, 2006 Share Posted November 10, 2006 box in the sides and it will probably be plenty strong.... how you plan on attaching it with the center of the blocks like that? thats the biggest issue I can see. As a rule of thumb if your just using rectangular tubing we use 1/4" thick steel for most of the blocks that have any strain whatsoever put on them, but thinner metal can be used if engineered right. To have a good lift the cost of it is going to come from sheer amount of material or time spent engineering it or a mix of the two. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
