November 13, 200619 yr I got rid of my 87 GL-10, and bought a 98 Legacy GT 2.5 wagon. I paid $2300 for it, with a minor blown HG and a bad water pump. $53.00 later, water pump is fixed with a new timing belt. removed the thermostat and HG problem solved, not over heating, just takes a long time to warm up. (temporary, STi eng, and trans coming in the summer). what I've done: New 02 WRX struts and springs with new toppers (4) new brakes, calipers, rotors, and hoses painted wheels, Yokohama Avid V4's "V" rated shoes 205/55/16 fram air hog, professional fuel induction cleaning, new fuel filter brake flush with red line dot 7 brake fluid, mobile 1 10w30 (3 oil changes now) P/S flush JDM BG5 Koito fog lights (not in pics yet, 1-2 days)
November 19, 200619 yr Author oh my, its beautiful! DCCD going in as well? With any luck. I may have to install the 5 spd WRX trans due to not knowing how the stability control, and traction control work (mine not haveing it, and the STi of course does.). I think that may get very expensive changeing ABS systems, and hubs/brakes.
