(bulb replaced today and problem is still there.) in stock configuration the headlights are not switched through relay's (and if they were, the light would go out, not dim) most likely a ground issue, check all the major grounds and the mounting points of the headlamp casing (it grounds through the shell)
November 24, 200619 yr if its getting wet that can make the headlights dim. check for leaks and if its getting water inside of it and you want a cheap fix. drill a hole at the bottom. worked great for my old fish bowls

(bulb replaced today and problem is still there.) Yeah - there's one relay for each side under the dash. Look up behind the fuse box. I've seen that before and it's usually the relays. GD
November 24, 200619 yr When I did my EJ22 swap. I disturbed a lot of the wiring under the dash. My passenger side light was dim, but did both high and low. It was the relay under the dash, it had slipped out of it's socket. I didn't find out till it fell out on my feet. Check the relays, I almost gaurentee that's what it is.
November 25, 200619 yr Author fixed. the car is owned by my girlfriends brother. he hit a metal steak and i guess cut or tuged on the harness enough to rip the wire's. his dad riged it. (stupid idea) he hot droped it... i was out gettin food so it wasnt my idea:lol:
