For '95 Legacy--searched every timing belt and cam sprocket post I could find (there are a lot!) and no one mentions what size socket is required.

 

So . . . what size is it?

It's either 17mm or 19mm. If you going out to buy some sockets, the typical sizes on Subarus are 10mm 12mm 14mm 17mm 19mm. There are a couple of places were 8mm, 22mm and 32mm are used too.

Thanks GL. I'm good up to 19mm, just gotta' go buy a 22mm for the crank pulley.
