my EA81 is getting tired. have a used spare but thinking of just going with a fresh one. was going to rebuild myself but would rather not go thru the hassle. i'm weighing swap used spare, rebuild, or CCR. i would like to have the HP. bumped up for future lift/bigger wheels/tires.

wow, 3 motors! so i'm guessing they're reasonably priced v.s the savings of doing it myself. i just may have to give them a call. i'm only in the planning stage right now.

My son bought a CCR engine for his '82 Brat at least 7or 8 years ago. Engine still running fine. Never a problem with it and car & driver won 2 or 3 championships in the truck/SUV class of the ORG rallycross series (using the original carter-weber of all things). Car has been outfitted with a real weber for the last two years.
