January 1, 200719 yr There's a link at the top right, called USRM. That would've yielded it. Or I'm sure a search for ECU Codes would have yielded it as well. Since you're lazy: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=49918
January 2, 200719 yr Author Thanks for the help I did find it rather easily after posting. sry to have wasted your time. I am having a hard time finding either the connect or the LED for the Oxygen Monitor. I can't seem to find either. anyone help me? I have an 87 spfi I believe
January 2, 200719 yr The connectors will be under the hood in the back near the driver's side. Black one is to pull up stored codes, green one is for a diagnostic mode. If the CEL is currently on, don't connect any and just read the light on the ECU. The ECU is located under the steering column. Pull of the lower dash panel and look for the big black box.
January 2, 200719 yr On the EA82, the read mem. connector is white. Both sets are in the engine bay wireing harness behind the drivers side strut tower. At the bottom of my SPFI write up, there's a link to the portion of the FSM that covers all the codes, and testing procedures: http://home.comcast.net/~trilinear/EA81_SPFI.html GD
