EA81 Dash pad removal tips

Featured Replies

I'm going after a MINT dash pad for my '83 in the u-pullit, But, I've never pulled one before. Any Tips?

Lots of patience:-p

Remove the windshield if possible. It makes accessing the bolts easier. Theres one at each end that can be a bear to get out. I think theres one in the middle under a little plastic cover(?). Underneath on each corner and I THINK in the middle underneath. Its been a while since I pulled a dash.

that's pretty much it.

I found a mint dark blue dash for my 84 coupe and i pulled the windshield out of the junkyard car. My coupe needs its windshield resealed/replaced so this summer I'll make a project out of changing the windshield, dash, and R&Ring the heater all at once.

Great,

I have an FSM that shows the bolts and I'm pulling the windshield too so it all works out!
