Zebisko
Ok, so I thought my gas gauge was broken. But I was driving and noticed the low gas light came on. I then filled up, and it appeared the needle moved a tad, and the light turned off. So, what does this mean?
idosubaru
the float in the tank is likely faulty. i'm not very familiar with them, but they are accessed through an access port in the trunk (remove cover to get to the sending unit) under the carpeting in most soobs. nipper
The light doesnt work off the float. It has its own sensor. nipper
Zebisko
Oh, ok, so I should replace the float? Well, that may happen eventually. Thanks a bunch:banana:
mikeshoup
Try some STP fuel cleaner in the tank. I've heard great things of that helping to clear up stuck floats.
