Broken Wiper Motor

Featured Replies

My Driver side winshield wiper has died:mad: It goes about 4 inches and then stops which causes a collision with the passenger side wiper. My first thought would be that this is the motor craping out...but I don't know. Any suggestions?

Likely, the wiper arm is loose. Reposition, retighten and away you go. Wife loosened mine by trying to push heavy snow. The nut releases instead of cooking the motor.

Thanks I'll test that out in the morning....and yes there has been snow, so you probably hit it on the head

Thanks

one motor does both wipers. The motor is on the passenger side in the engine bay. The linkage is straight forward so yes, its most likely the wiper arm.
