my 92 loyale has a intermittent problem with the pwr steering, it gets hard to steer,kinda choppy, than works fine for a few days ?. fluid is up, no leaks, can air get trapped in the system. i replaced the pump about 3000 mi ago...

I think that´s the Right Answer... Also, I suggest to Pour a Bottle of Power Steerin´ Conditioner & Sealant; Both things will Elliminate that problem´, since some of the Belt Slippin´ is Due by a "Hard" Power Steerin´ Pump.
