March 26, 200719 yr I want to install XT6 fogs on my 3-door. What all do I need from the XT6 to make it work? Any wires in particular, maybe a switch? What's a good way to run them?
March 26, 200719 yr Same as all the other EA82's. Switch, relay, lights. Dont know where you could put the XT switch, but there should be somewhere it could fit.
March 26, 200719 yr Its on the center console, just before the pocket. Its a rocker switch, thats why I said you might find a place for it.
March 27, 200719 yr It should fit in the blank spot for the rear gate latch, unless his car is 85-86 and has the power gate latch, in which case I THINK there is a blank spot on the left hand side of the steering wheel that the XT foglight switch will just snap into.
March 27, 200719 yr Author I have a blank spot on the left side for the rocker switch, but I'm still trying to figure out wiring (did 86's come pre-wired for fogs? My old '86 was)
March 28, 200719 yr I have a blank spot on the left side for the rocker switch, but I'm still trying to figure out wiring (did 86's come pre-wired for fogs? My old '86 was) It was a factory option, my white 86 brat did not have the wiring, but the maroon one I have now does. Still running the original subie relay!
March 28, 200719 yr Author Doesnt look like mine's wired for it... So, how do I get them to work? I only have the lights and the switch. What kind of wiring and what kind of relay do i need? also, the donor car is gone. and i didnt take the wiring

Make sure you get one with a relay setup, otherwise you run the risk of burning the switch up, or wire fires.
