April 12, 200718 yr I have some EA82 seats I picked up from Milemaker(so much more comfortable than my hatches!). I wished to put them in, and found this site through a bit of searching http://www.ausubaru.com/wiki/index.php/MODIFICATIONS#Fitting_L_Series_seats_to_an_MY. and didn't know if this would work for my application. Also, I wanted to know if there was any way to use the rear seat as well. I test fitted, and it seemed a bit wide, but the real problem was that the seat belts got in the way. I would really like to use these, they are quite comfy!
April 12, 200718 yr that article talks about MY series. what is that? any EA81? i have a friend with an EA81 hatch that i gave some seats to, he might be able to use that.
April 13, 200718 yr I've got a set of rails I made back in the day to put EA82 seats in an EA81, they're just EA81 rails that have been drilled to fit the EA82 seats, I'll get some pictures of them tomorrow and post 'em :-) I made these just out of my own intiution before I was really active on the board. I also put the carpet and center console out of the wagon I got the seats out of in my 87 STD hatch. Sadly, I don't have any pictures :-(
April 13, 200718 yr I've never been able to get a straight answer on this. It does mean "EA81 series" but I have no idea where "MY" comes from. that article talks about MY series. what is that? any EA81? i have a friend with an EA81 hatch that i gave some seats to, he might be able to use that.
