Jimmyowensfan20
I can feel the binding in my drive line getting a little tighter. I also fear i may have a bad mount somewhere. I'll check that tommorrow.. But I can definately feel resistance to engine in driveline. Not sure if it could possibly be breaks but I'm almost possitive it is not...but it does seem to be holding my engine back...I haven't yet checked but this assusradly is effecting my gas mileage. How hard is it to change this "clutch pack" I've read so much about? I have tons of tools a pit and a flat bay engine and tranny lifts, any tool imaginable so i would prefer to do it myself. Input please?
ericem
If u really think its binding, just change the transmission fluid. Its good to make sure all tires are properly inflated.
nipper
1- all the tires match (equally worn same brand and age) ? 2- all tires inflated equally ? 3- install FWD fuse and see if it goes away. 4- flush the tranny and see if that fixes it. Someone is going to blame the Duty C solenoid, but since your njot getting an angry dash light at startup its fine. If a tranny flushdoesnt help then you are going to need a clutchpack. Do a search on Torque Bind. At the same time you replace the tranny mount. nipper
