So, I think I figured out what killed the 214k engine in my brother's 3 door coupe.

 

I did a compression test on it, 3 out of 4 cylinders were extremely low, and the fourth was pretty low.

OUCH!..we just pulled a chewed one from Tommys Toyota..lucky we caught it before it got that bad...now I have to go out and check Buckys

you might be able to get it cleaned out if you pull the intake

That'll do it every time. My buddy lost a turbo on his wrx due to that same thing. Poor fellow only got a vf34 and STi topmount out of it:mad:
