November 30, 200322 yr If I'm reading the USRM correctly, I should be seeing (if anything) a number of long pulses followed by a number of short pulses. This is a key-on, no connectors test. 6 short pulses, pause, 6 short pulses, ad infinitum. No timing changes, no pause changes. Just 6 short. Any insights? Kalo:confused:
November 30, 200322 yr According to Haynes it's the model designation not a fault code. It means your car has a manual trans and is a California model vehicule. Good news ! Wont cost you much to repair that :santa:
December 1, 200322 yr Author Actually, it looks as if it may cost quite a lot to fix the California thing. Thanks for the lookup. Kalo

Kalo CA models are a little different..for example, My motor is from a California car.. it had no EGR.. so when it went into another car, I had to swap intakes.. and suddenly it has an EGR!!.. but no hole in the drivers side head to attach the EGR pipe:rolleyes:
