Time to change the timing belt, water pump, etc.

 

Is anyone willing to let me borrow their cam holding tools?

they are actually really easy to do without any special holding tools. i'd read through some threads here and go to it. i've never used a tool to do it, it's really easy.

What's your location?

If you are talking about locking the cam to remove the bolt so you can get the cam off (presumably to replace a seal) then use a chain vise grip over old belt to protect cam teeth.

I used a couple of clothes pins on the cam pulleys to keep the belt from slipping while installing. Helps alot!

Or just loosen the bolts before you take the old timing belt off
