I did my headgaskets last year myself, so I can't give him a good estimate. How much would the combined headgasket/clutch job be do you think at a repair shop? idosubaru Posted July 25, 2007 Share Posted July 25, 2007 for a good job - about $1,500 US dollars give or take a few hundred. depends greatly on parts...water pump, timing belt, plugs, wires, plug gaskets, valve cover gaskets, replace any noisey timing pulleys, metal separator plate, oil pump reseal, tighten the oil pump backing plate screws, complete clutch job??
