July 28, 200718 yr Hi folks. My CEL is lit, so I stopped at an auto parts store and got the error codes extracted. Two of the error codes are P0130 and P0136 (O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction). One of them is "Bank 1 Sensor 1", and the other is "Bank 1 Sensor 2". In addition, there are "Fuel Air Metering" errors, which I assume are being caused by the bad O2 sensors. I just wanted to verify that these errors are caused by bad O2 sensors, and that replacing them should be my first response. Or could these errors be caused by some other problem? Thanks.
July 28, 200718 yr Since the O2 sensor code is a circuit problem you need to check the wiring to the sensor to see what is causing the problem. The other problem may clear after the circuit is fixed to the first sensor.
July 28, 200718 yr if there are codes for all the sensors, it's not likely a problem with the sensors, but the circuit or computer. first thing, check the fuse. if that blows, they all shut off...and throw codes. ~Erik~
