its almost radiator time EJ rad in a EA

Featured Replies

Wiring harness is done (except for the alternator stuff and running my own power wires) Belts and gaskets are all swapped around. My adapter plate is in the mail and everything else is "good to go"

anyone have any sugestions on the best way to install a EJ22e radiator in my GL-10 wagon ? also any hints on fan mounting would be a big + thanks guys:D

I'm gonna ask this... Why?

The EA82T is much harder to cool then a EJ22... you stock rad should be just fine. I'm running my Rx's single row(stock form, but not stock one) and I have a SOHC EJ25. Runs cool.

yep, my loyale rad keeps my 22e plenty cool. I just found out the relay for my rad fan circuit died.....huh.....never even noticed.

stock rad is clogged worse then you can imagine the radiator shop I took it to wanted $50 just to "take a look at it" of corse this was after 4 days and I had already given them the radiator to "look at" IE its not worth $50 to get a broken radiator back so I told them to f off. and I just so happen to have an EJ22e radiator right here. so Its gonna have to work.

yea, but do you have the time and fabrication skills/equipment to make it work?

go to a junkyard, and get yourself a decent loyale radiator. it'll fit right in, and the lower outlet points straight out (instead of the steep upward angle like the GL ones).
