The return: Leone RX/II

While'st I build on the STX/STU WRX...the RX awaits its final destiny.

What is it?

Who knows really...as I've lost my patience with it time and time again.

The WRX is just NOT a practical car to turn into an SM car and be 'competitive' as its too heavy and you start spending lots of money on parts that break...aka transmissions and related. However, it is the 'Spec' car for STX...and with a few more tweaks it'll be a great compromise between fully prepped STX car and daily driver.

SOOOOOOOOOOO............

EJ257+SOHC RS heads with 'OE' cams+16G=good.

Then, an 'OE' 5MT that'll be more than fine to hold the power. Stock center diff, helical front, stock LSD rear.

Then...tweak the suspension and front wheel bearings that actually WORK....viola. Oh, a stack display.

I'll start working on this very slowly...

Who knows really...as I've lost my patience with it time and time again.

i always do that with my projects lol:grin:

good luck with ya project :):burnout:

Why the single cam heads?

Simple. Reliable. Easy to service. Smaller than DOHC. Flows very nicely.

Not to rain on the RX/II parade, but I've seen threads like this before and wonder if it might actually happen this time. DON'T TEASE US ANYMORE.
