Ahhhhhh.... The first snow of the year...

Featured Replies

I am very happy that I was finally able to try out the 4wd in the snow this weekend (we got around 30"). What usually happens to me is that I'll buy a good winter car and we end up having very lame (no snow) winters. Not this year! I have to say that you Subaru guys are right on the ball. I didn't realize how bad the roads were until I switched from my 89 TW to my 03 Focus. BIG difference.

We just had our first snow as well. It was kinda lame but covered the raods for a day or so. I had fun with the 87rx limited-slip- rear diff. the car is kinda tricky to drive, sometimes the lsd wants to push the car around causing understeer. Once you get to the point you can anticipate the car reaction, Tiss much fun to drive. I hope we have a good winter(lots-o-snow) where the plows can't keep up. Thats when I be having the most fun

The difference between where you are and here is that our first snow doesn't go away until May.

This weekend's snow was great!, played around out on the dirt roads in the woods with the Brat on sat, even the town roads were fun sat nite., noone else was out at all. Cant wait for the next storm.
