Rasing EA82 By Suspension Only

Featured Replies

What Suspension could i use to raise my 92 EA82?

i got rear raised by 86 Honda Accord Springs but i want to make it alittle higher. so i can use 215/75/R15's on it.

any idea what spring ect... i could use?

Keep in mind that the length of the stock 4wd wagon struts stress the limits of the car's camber settings. anything longer is going to cost you tires on a regular basis.

and accord springs already are pushing your axles to their limit.

you want to fit 215/75r15s? That's what I had on my 4" lifted EA82, and still had to trim the fenders. you're not going to make it happen with just suspension.

ok. thats what i needed to know. that the highes i'm gonna put her then.

Thanx

i have had good luck with my honda springs even with my AA lift. but like num said it will push them cv's to the edge. going on 3 years and have not lost a rear cv yet...knock on wood:banghead:

what AA lift are you running?

I had the 4" high clearance, and adjusted the shock extensions up another inch, and ate through 2 rear axles in one weekend of hard wheeling.

I have the hi as well but i drilled My bar and that droped my dif down a inch or so. honda springs But at stock settings. i have been thinking about making some dif blocks and lowering it proper.

you can drop the diff down a little bit with spacers at the hanger to mount bushings and the mount to body bolts. as well as the bolts that hold the diff to the mounting plate. if you want to donk out your subaru rollin on 13's.

the springs on soob shocks would ride ok, its better than the chap coil spring booster i have in my sedan. i did space the diff to make up about 1/2 to 3/4 inch. it is a little rough on the driveshaft but i need to lower the top part of the diff
