He swears by Cometic head gaskets and says that's what all the big import guys use. The regular ones (not these) are comparably priced to factory gaskets. nipper Posted September 25, 2007 Share Posted September 25, 2007 WHy would you use them when SUbaru has fixed the HG issue with multi layered gaskets with inserts. ALso dont forget that gaskets for performance engines (ie race engines) are not meant to last 100's of thousands of miles.
