Take a look at this. This system wa developed for WW2 fighters if I recall. I bet would cure Subaru head gasket woes.

I have a friend at work who drag races rather professionally a tube frame 69 Camaro. He swears by Cometic head gaskets and says that's what all the big import guys use. The regular ones (not these) are comparably priced to factory gaskets.

WHy would you use them when SUbaru has fixed the HG issue with multi layered gaskets with inserts. ALso dont forget that gaskets for performance engines (ie race engines) are not meant to last 100's of thousands of miles. Passenger car gaskets have different performance requirements then race engines.
