Hey, new to the site. I have 3 ea81's all complete one with a complete tranny. Can I transplant the ea81 and tranny into the '79 Brat without any issues? Are there any words of wisdom out there?

also, I have a shell in good condition, a couple other ea71's and misc parts, and I need a rollbar. anyone interested in a trade? Thanks

If you want to pay the freight from northern CA. there is a painted roll bar on a pretty well toasted 79 brat in a Susanville junk yard, the place is pretty reasonable. I have no Idea what frieght whoud be nor when I would be able to get it for you ( probably 3 to 4 weeks).

I was thinking of this too. I have a EA81 and im going to want to put it in a '79 Wagon. I dont have the tranny, so what do i need to do to get it to mate to the '79 tranny and install it?
