hey finaly got my weber for a deal to a guy my dad knows had a brand new one and he needed a window for his hatch and someone to put it in. so i found one in a junk yard and he traded it to me for the windshield and me to instal it how cool is that here are some pics any one got an adapter plate for the ea81,ea82. thanks. PS it is the 32/36 with electric choke:) tell me what you think and iff you have an adapter (OH i also need the little clips for the top.) thanks again rob.

 

 

 

Check ebay for a new filter kit, it will come with the clips you need and its always good to have a spare filter anyway.

 

The adapter can be had for about $40 if i remember correctly. Search the web for weber dealers.

Chances are you are going to need the shorter filter anyways. Thats the 2 1/2 inch filter. I had that on and couldnt close my hood. Your probably going to need the 1 1/2 inch filter and clips.

You should check the jetting as it probably won't be correct.

 

EA81/EA82 use different adaptors.

 

Short filter on EA81's (or you can cut out part of the hood cross-bar to clear the larger filter), but the filter you have will work for an EA82.

 

You'll want to remove that silly universal throttle cam and install the one from the Hitachi so the stock cable will work. There's several ways of doing the cable depending on EA81 or EA82 and if you want it installed backwards or not....
