November 15, 200718 yr is there a more highoutput alternator around i could put on my ea82? its a 91 loyale. and do the dual range transmissions out of the late 80s gl's have the netural switch?
November 15, 200718 yr I read something about using a GM alternator on an xt6, I haven't had the need for more power on my ea82 though, so I haven't tried it on mine, and I don't know if it would work on a ea82, but it might be wirth looking into. I think the dual range trannys are supposed to have the nuetral safety switch, but mine was removed, along with the clutch safety switch, but it is supposed to be there. -Bill
