November 17, 200718 yr My rear window defogger is turning itself off. Is it supposed to do this? This is a 98 Impreza wagon.

November 17, 200718 yr Author hahaha I didn't think it was mocking me, really (though with this car, there are enough little problems that sometimes I wonder...) but it had occured to me that it might be overheating and somehow resetting itself.

It turns off so it doens't overheat I thought I was so smart when i figured that out... then i found it in the owners manual.. and felt stupid again Nipper, my rear defroster is mocking you.
