December 14, 200322 yr There is a freaky seatbelt that hangs over the shoulder of the rear seats on both sides, looks as if it would be a shoulder belt, but there is nothing for it to bucklie into or latch into. its just weird....anybody know what the heck these are for or how to use them?
December 14, 200322 yr GL right? i was in my buddie's loyale today and i noticed that his were connected to the side of the headliner. i also noticed that his car has some feature that mine does not and visa/versa. i haven't looked in my GL yet, but i had simmilar belts in an 88 nova. i know this doesn't really help, but i noticed it in my only friend with a subaru's car. <sense?> this might have some relevance after all. eh. free bump too.
December 14, 200322 yr My dad's 89 DL had the seat belt system like this. If you pull the lap belt out and move the fabric on the buckle you will see a set of holes for the shoulder strap to fit in. Attach and adjust and then buckle like you normally would. Hope this helps Kevin
December 14, 200322 yr Is it possible that the receptors have accidentally gotten buried beneath the back seat? Happens all the time in my car.:santa: Emily http://www.ccrengines.com
December 14, 200322 yr Author no, there is nothing buried under the seat that i'm missing, there are no holes on the lap belt for it, and no holes or latches on the sheet metal unerneath the back seats(they flip up)
December 14, 200322 yr They should clip onto the metal side of the buckle on the lap belt. When you have the lap belt buckled, the hole for the latch should just barely protrude.
