January 25, 200818 yr I replaced the original struts with KYB GR2 struts. Am I imagining that it is sitting an inch higher all the way around? The 98 GT wagon did sit on jack stands for 3 months but I remember the car being a bit lower.
January 25, 200818 yr It will be a bit higher for the first few days until your springs settle again. You are going to like those GR2s

The 98 GT wagon did sit on jack stands for 3 months but I remember the car being a bit lower. it would depend on the struts you used. outbacks are taller, i don't know how much but an inch sounds about right. outback tires are about .78 inches larger in radius than legacy and .71 inches larger than GT. i can usually feel the difference in height when i get out of the driver seat.
January 25, 200818 yr i second the springs will settle i have had soobs on the lift for that long and when you set them down they sit a little high they settle after the first jump....LOL
January 25, 200818 yr No, not your imagination. A few years back, I put KYB GR2s on my VW Quantum. The car immediately sat about an inch higher, and remained that way forever. I really liked the GR2s. The car rode a little firmer then stock OEM struts, while providing better handling.
