February 1, 200818 yr Hello everyone, I know I've seen some posts here about swapping a dual range 4WD 4 spd for a 4WD 5spd and those that did were happy with the conversion. I'm on my second 4WD 4 spd transmission here so if the 5sp is better I might as well go for it. What exactly do I need? I have an 85 brat with the dual range 4WD 4 spd, what model and year of donar car should I be looking for. Thanks! - Bill
