EVOthis Posted February 16, 2008 Share Posted February 16, 2008 I saw a article a while ago in a Suby magazine.....this guy took his like 93' impreza wagon ej18 almost bone stock and threw a turbo on it and a WRX intercooler..........just an idea....if you dont want a turbo....i would recommened a 2.2.....a little bit more power and they are very reliable...... fnlyfnd Posted February 17, 2008 Share Posted February 17, 2008 check nasioc, a lot of people do it best bet is to get a whole complete wrx that is salvaged. You'll need everything (harness, ecu, dash?, pedals, reard diff, etc..) Should be able to get it done over a weekend. I believe the entire dash itself is a near perfect fit. Even if you did the mechanical end, a shop cold do the electrical stuff. I'm sure someone in WA specializes in this kind of thing. Gloyale Posted February 17, 2008 Share Posted February 17, 2008 EJ22 is the easiest drop in. Grab a good runner form the boneyard. Or, for a bit more money and time, get an EJ25.
