flashing abs codes

Featured Replies

and maybe that's not what really happens but you get the idea.

i have a 96 legacy and the abs light comes on sometimes. not all the times, just sometimes. and there is no rime nor reason for it to come on. like i'm not doing anything different between the times it comes on and the time it doesn't

so is there a way to check the codes for the abs. like flashing or a plug in computer. and because the light goes out does that mean the code is no longer there or would it be stored in the computer.

There is a very good reason for it to come on....

its not happy.

You dont hug it enough...

odds are one of the wheel sensors are bad. They need to be perfectly cylindrical in shape. Any erosion around the edges and they will fail.

Search Antilock Brakes and someplace in here is the procdure for getting the codes, or you can just inspect the sensors.
