in whatcom and skagit county weres the good spots to go wheelin?? we have Walker Valley near Mt vernon, where else is there ? maybe theres something out near the water??

There used to be that area up on Mosquito Lake Road kinda near your house Scott. It was a couple big gravel pits for the dirtbike/quads, and a whole bunch of trails for the 4wd quads, and wheelin'. It was a great spot, and as I recall, a LOT of trails. I haven't been up there in a few years though. May want to ask around for people in your area.

That's a shame, from what I was hearing; it was soon to be a legitimate ORV area. Any idea what happened?

We used to have a place on fir island we went to Called northfork right along the river on the north fork. Anyways it got shut down because all the meth heads moved down there so now no one can go down there. that was the best place in the world. now it's gone.

There is always Medford Pit too there are a few places where you can make trails and drive right through the woods with creeks and everthing.

Yeah, Medford Pit isn't too bad. I haven't been up there in awhile. Lots of dirtbike/fourwheeler trails... it never hurts to make new trails too...

Medford would be the best for you guys. I haven't been up to Medford in awhile, but I know alot of people from Sedro Woolley go up there and play around on quads, dirtbikes, and trucks. Lotsa logging roads with little trails off of them. Not much else except 10 acres in Concrete. It is little, lots of mud, but little. You could do all of it in about 2 hours.

Are most of those down south? I've been to evens creek two times one time wheeling and one time just to watch and meet up with a few guys. That is a 250 mile round trip from my house and for scott and will add 90 more miles for them. I think that's a little too far.

reiter is fun i havent been ther in a few years but was always a blast i love the index wall trail.

I say we send teams out to investigate both North Forks, and see if they are at all passable.

I know you can get in the fir Island one, but.......... you get in big big trouble. people accross the river can see you there and they will call you in. That is part of the "no fly zone"!!!
