70s brat with two doggies in the back. pretty cool lookin painted as a WWII fighter here is a pic, anybody on here? snapped a pic with my cell.

The shark teeth design was made famous by the Flying Tigers. It was before we declared war on Japan and we were "unofficialy" helping China out. The group was led by Claire Chennault. The design was painted on the Curtis P-40.

And those are bombs painted on the rear, which isnt correct because they were fighters, not bombers.

p-40s are sick. but my favorite are the p-51s my dad has a thing for them too. prolly were i get it from :grin: but that is one of the coolest sounds in the world is a p-51 flyin low over head i really wanna go for a ride in one. :popcorn:

Yeah, when I watch TV, its usually the Military Channel, History or History International.

And Speed.

 

A few other favorite Fighter prop planes from WW2 are the F4 Corsair, P38 Lightning, P47 Thunderbolt, ME-109, Spitfire.

i find my self watching alot of the history channel too, WWII fighters are real entertaining to me :popcorn:
