Durania
Not to poke, but isn't that a WWII fighter style? http://badgerblogger.com/?p=5363 What is stamped onto the bed like something to resemble a fuselage?

Turbone
The shark teeth design was made famous by the Flying Tigers. It was before we declared war on Japan and we were "unofficialy" helping China out. The group was led by Claire Chennault. The design was painted on the Curtis P-40. And those are bombs painted on the rear, which isnt correct because they were fighters, not bombers.

Turbone
Rob, least I know that I am not the only history buff. Yeah, when I watch TV, its usually the Military Channel, History or History International. And Speed. A few other favorite Fighter prop planes from WW2 are the F4 Corsair, P38 Lightning, P47 Thunderbolt, ME-109, Spitfire.
