Jump Seat Mounting

Featured Replies

I'm installing the jump seats in my Brat this week, I know that the base part welds into the bed, and I can attach the TOP of the headrest bars but how do the bottom of them attach? I've not been able to find any pics etc. on here and a search hasn't proven very fruitful.

Any help would be appreciated!! :headbang:

There should be brackets on the front wall of the bed for the lower end of the headrest track. Sounds as if someone cut those off for what ever reason.

Sorry, no pics of them. I can get pics latter today, or tomorrow.

Cheers! If you're able to get me pics I'd appreciate it! That way I know what to fab up as a replacement. :headbang:

If yours is a 86 0r 87 brat you will not have the bottom mounting brackets,.. Of all things i have.....i have the pair of brackets... $ 8.00 shipped to your door

I just drilled throught the rear, cut off some round stock and ran a bolt for my bottom attachements.

Cheers guys, I appreciate it! My Brat's an '82 and I'm about to start a restoration on it so I need to get things all figured out!

I'll get back to ya on the brackets for $8.00... I managed to make it to a Subie meet 200+ miles away on the weekend so now my "honey-do" list is about 3 miles long and it's looking EXPENSIVE
