EVOthis Posted May 10, 2008 Share Posted May 10, 2008 i did all my speakers last year in my 96 legacy......the front door speakers are 10xs easier to do than the rears which are located in the deck lid.........i had a heck of a time trying to get the deck lid cover off in one piece....than after i did get it off the kid who had it before me i believe retrofitted 6x9s in there....if i were you if you dont have that much time i would replace the front.......i do def. notice a sound difference with my new speakers.......if your looking at a specific brand may i recommend sony.....every one else i talk to says sony is junk but i have never had a single problem....... 8 out of the 14 speakers in my legacy are sony and it sounds amazing.......
