July 13, 200817 yr OK so I was wondering what everyone runs strut wise in here. I kinda want a stiffer ride for my wagon. Thanks guys Tim
July 14, 200817 yr Stiffness has more to do with the springs than the struts. Struts are just dampeners for the springs. If you want the suspension to be stiffer, lower, higher, etc you need to change the spring rate. Unless of course your struts are just leaking and you are looking to get rid of a bouncy suspension - then by all means replace the struts. KYB's are good. GD
July 14, 200817 yr RX springs would be lower and probably a bit stiffer. Other than that you are going to have to look aftermarket. Why do you want it stiffer? What are you trying to do with your vehicle? GD
July 14, 200817 yr get some kyb struts... they make the ride stiffer, even the cheap GR-2 ones... if you're looking for street performance get some stiffer springs too like GeneralDisorder mentioned... --Spiffy
