Honest Subaru Mechanic in Shenandoah valley, VA?

Featured Replies

Hi, Am looking for an honest and reliable mechanic in the Shenandoah valley of Virginia (could be in Harrisonburg, Staunton, Waynesboro or thereabouts) for my 1998 Forester. Thanks for suggestions. Sorry this is in the wrong thread - did not see how to move it.

might want to say what you need done too. like something marjor - head gaskets, or just general maintenance?

the best thing you can do is get a good mechanic and get advice from USMB on parts and how best to proceed with the given repair.

hey,

i lived in fishersville for a while and the only place that i really took my car was the subie dealer in harrisonburg. not because they are the best but because there are not many places that work on these cars in that area. i currently live in dc and i have a guy i would recommend up here but not worth the drive for you. what city are you in exactly?

you can try cartalk.com and put in your zipcode and see what places pop up. they rate local mechanics in your area.

Been 20+ years since I lived in No.Va. and don't know if he still has his business but worth checking to see if Mike Armstrong is still located in The Plains, Va. Located betwen Front Royal and Gainsville on 55. Mike's an honest guy.
