August 6, 200817 yr Author 1bignose has a 3-door with 30 inch tires and no lift... check this thread: http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=88591 --Spiffy the only reason i ask is because i might be able to get this cars, the wheels and the tires for free so ive got nothing into it. I know i wont beable to convince the mrs for a lift so if i had to just whatever was cheeper. Ben
August 6, 200817 yr ive been running 28's for a few weeks, and they rubed like crazy on cranked suspension even with trimming and banging with a BFH. im sure it could be done but your have to trim, no i mean cut the crap out of your fenders.

This is free stuff meaning i dont have money to throw at it when it breaks. I was going to trim about where the fender lips come out. Yea that whole thing is gone. Door and everything. Ben
August 8, 200817 yr Yes you can fit them but the front will need spacers without a lift tire rub on suspension because the only 31s I could find are 10.5 inch wide and that is a 1/2 inch to wide

Ben Ben you will need to trim and bash quite a bit , the gearing will lack with such big tires, I would recommend finding a set of 215/75-15 or 225/75-15 , should be able to find a used set easy enough , Im running 26" mud tires on my white wagon and they work fine and still have the lower gear wich comes in handy climbing hills zzz zzz zzz
August 10, 200817 yr Author well like i said ive got the tires free and the car was free i thought i had free wheels but that fell through. So i probally wont run 31s now. Yea its ok though would of been alot of work. Think ill just part it out and scrap the rest. Ben
