What size are the exhaust studs on a ea82? Thanks.

if the holes in head are stripped go up to 7/16x16. no drilling involved just a lil tapping

also - none of the parts stores will say they carry anything for your car - but they all do.

 

just look for any 10x1.25 exhaust studs, they are VERY common and i've yet to find an auto parts store that doesnt' have them in stock.

 

some of them will have a small section in the center that is not threaded. no big deal - just install them with the longest threaded side facing OUT and install the shortest side into the engine. this way the unthreaded section ends up in the exhaust manifold area, so it doesn't matter.
