I finally received the correct part for the Gray/Black upper column cover (My car is an 89 XT6). The one that Subaru sent is a 31160GC670 and I can confirm that it is the correct color and fits perfectly. The inside of my original cover lists part number 31160GD090 which might also still be available but I didn't try that.

 

I am having a hard time finding the correct lower cover though and I need some help with the part number. The original part has the numbers 31160GD100 (Gray/Black) and 31160GD120 (Dealer Says this one is Blue). I ordered the 31160GD100 and although it looks almost correct (same shape and style) it is about an inch shorter in height and won't fit over the column "bump". The replacement parts don't have a part number anymore, could this one have been miss labeled? Next Subaru ordered a 31160GC580 which they say is the only other Black part available and it is incorrect also.

 

Anyone have any ideas? I would even take a Blue lower if the dimensions were correct.

There are 2 different types. One is for the auto belt set up.

The part number is 31160 GC700

The number for non auto belt is 31160 GC130

 

If you cant find one, I may have it.
