September 6, 200817 yr Passed it's last emmissions test it will ever need in washington state :banana: :banana: even after sitting for 5 years... fired it up drove it to the emmissions place and passed with flying colors.... the guy there was amazed because it was running so rough from sitting
September 15, 200817 yr Congrats on it! The reason why it was sitting for so long is where I'll lend a hand at explaining. This car was bought and fixed by a board member even though he's not active on here anymore. He rebuilt the engine in it since it had been drastically overheated but could never get it to run right. I got it a few months ago but never had time to figure it out. I sold it to crayola and he fixed it since it was sluggish, by replacing the injectors in it IIRC.
September 15, 200817 yr Author and let me say the drive home from redmond on 3 cylinders was FUN!!! not.... got home my brother goes switch that injector out for another and bam peeerrrrrs like a cat but the injectors are finiky they'll be fine at one point and missfiring at another time:dead:
