November 12, 200817 yr wuts the going price on a 2000 outback with 277,000 miles and bad motor.. its an auto.....
November 13, 200817 yr super high milage and a bad motor means it is just about scrap value. A wrecking yard would pay $150, not much more. In my opinion, I wouldn't pay much more than that.
November 13, 200817 yr there's too many variables and what's your goal? you're just buying it to fix and drive? i generally agree with the other guy, but i'd go $500 max maybe? personally i'd plan on replacing the engine and transmission and factor that into the price and work backwards from there if i was looking for a daily driver out of it.
