I'm up for a wheeling trip. I'm still working on the head gasket replacement on my 88 though. Im sure as hell not taking my Outback on any crazy off road trails.

Im not willing to beat up my brat, if its "fender safe" wheelin then maybe.

I think the 14th sounds good though.

Yeah I'm in the "nothing too bad" category too, my offroader is the same as my DD and I don't have ANY spare money to be fixing stuff so I have to play it real safe for now.

I managed to do without any body damage.

My drivers side front axle went, though. LSDRWDFTW:rolleyes:

Let's not mess up those cute lil' brats :-p Yes, i'm just jealous.

We have some time to figure this out. The 14th works for me.

So is everybody okay with Sunday the 14th??

Dave I know you will be out of town on the 13th... you gonna be rested and ready for Sunday? Now the question remains, where to meet?

Yeah, I'll be in Yuba City (yecch) Saturday, prolly crash there that night. Depending on how early I can get outa there will determine if I can get to where you guys will be. Brian, my phone number is the same as always.

As of right now, 1300 on Monday, there's talk of snowstorms during the weekend. We'll see if that will really happen as it gets later in the week (like Friday:rolleyes:).

:popcorn::popcorn:

Oh yeah, back to the location.

The gates to the USFS roads in the Tahoe Basin are locked in November, so that's out. We had a good time around Kyburz a couple of years ago, we can try there again.

Just my 2 bucks

The only problem with Kyburz is it is on the hwy50 side, and its quite a drive for the Reno Folk.

Dave, if you are going to be in Yuba City on Sunday, driving out... i think my house is between the two and we can drive up together. I'll check my phone to see if the # is still stored.

Cisco grove is hella far!

Not sure if i'd make this one.

I was thinking of camping maybe this weekend. Maybe at the Grover hot springs? Its south of Gardnerville and north of Kirkwood out there in the mountains. Real nice area and probably some sweet trails near there. Anyone up for that area?

Just as far for you as it is for me.

That's true :), no more whining.

camping ... at the Grover hot springs?

That sounds awesome!

JB, do you have a map of the area??

And Greenley, i got something to give you as well... so hopefully you can make it

I'm bummed.. not going to be able to make it. Gotta get new shoes for the loyale before I even think about going anywhere for fun.

And offroad? fuggitaboutit.

JB, do you have a map of the area??

Would this perhaps be a spare tire? I yoinked that switch for you, also.

Here's a general map of the area JB's talking about ...

Wow that is way out of the way. Would probably take me 2 or 3 hours to drive out there.

Kinda want to make this a one day gig JB. That map is of an area I've gone wheelin in the Toyota. Great scenery for sure!

Woke up this morning and had to scrape my windows, so I think camping this weekend will be out of the question

Back on subject...

When, where, or if at all? :burnout:

The wagon's in pieces right now, i need to know how much time i have to finish. :)

Is this still on?

I saw the weather report for this weekend and there is a storm rolling in. They say Friday & Saturday its gonna get bad, Sunday its going to be NASTY!

I think it's safe to call it off right now.

You're probably right, at least in the higher mountain passes.

Maybe JB will still want to go camping up in markleeville:lol:

Yeah for you guys at the higher elevation it'll be easier on you.

Me on the other hand, not so much. Last time I went to Reno before a snowstorm, I tried to drive home the next day and there was a bus accident on I80. They detoured all the traffic to highway 20 and it took me 5 hours to get home...
