Featured Replies

Runs rough between 2-3 gears and throws a code.

Going to do a normal tune up but what else might it be? I think codes will point me to the right direction.

Would a generic OBD-II code scanner work on it?

you could go to autozone and get the codes read free , i bought my code reader from ebay , and works great

Thanks for the reply.

I will look for one off Ebay... any particular brand that's better?

watch the years the code reader will read, i paid like 50 total for mine, ,the code + what it is,

I will look for an Actron CP9175.

i bought a cheap one from harbor freight on sale for $39.95 i believe...just enough to pull the code...it came with a book to say what the code was....good enough for now....

there's another thread on here about those code readers. i bought one of the ebay jobs for $30-ish bucks and it reads the actual code on the screen for you too. excellent use of 30 measly dollars.
