The SubieTech HQ grounding kit was designed to

It upgrades a total of 5 grounds with the use of 4ga and 8ga cable. Each bronze ring terminal is sized matched and heat shrunk with color match heat shrink to insure a tight long lasting connection you can count on.

i have the Hyper Ground System from japan on my impreza, it did smooth out the engine idle, lights are brighter, and windows are faster up/down.

Any time you improve the grounding a vehicle will perform better.
