I bought some silicone wiper blades.

I forget the brand name (tossed the package  ) but they were

in a yellow and black package at wally world.

They work fairly well when I get washer fluid on the windows. (washer pump

doesn't work anymore :-\)

But they have never froze down on me.

I had them coated in ice and snow and they still worked.

I'ved use them as ice scrapers when there was frost on the windshield.

They have a lifetime warrantee on them so if they ever die I get new

ones for free!

The only thing I've noticed is that they don't work well on a dirty windshield.

I highly reccomend cleaning your windshield with some sort of wash,

ex. rain-x, turtle wax, etc, before you use them.

Twitch.

Do you have any facts that you could share with us?

Or this just a racist/xenophobic rant?

A lot of the stuff from China is just plain junk.

There is little quality control no matter what brand name is on the box.

I wouldn't buy anything that says Made in Russia for the same reason.

On the subject...I hope no one out there has to replace the whole wiper blade assembly on there Tribeca...New Front blades from the dealer are about $50 a piece...yes..almost $100 for 2 wiper blades....ridiculous....just a precaution to anyone with a Tribeca...If you happen to need wipers and go to the dealer...recommend they replace the inserts not the blades...much cheaper....

Since winter is just about over I decided to replace my Bosch Icon wiper blades today.

The replacement blades were free Icon blades I got from Bosch after I complained that the original ones did not hold up.

WOW.....what a difference a new blade can make.

Plus I replaced the rear blade with a Trico Exact Fit blade. I had a cheapo Auto Zone blade there and that was totally gone too.
