How much you guys think it worth?

Featured Replies

I have a 93 Loyale with 133k on it, AT.

Car acts weird @ hi spd. It will lost performance @ around 45 mph and after I let go the gas just a little it will go again. So it feel like doing some hiccups. I'm guessing it's the exhaust. Oil leak I need to put 1 qt in for about 400 mi in the summer and about 800 mi/ qt in winter.

I'm looking for $1k out of it. Do you guys thinks it's fair?

Vincent

To be blunt, No. Im sorry i picked up my 88 for 400 in perfect running condition. The AT is really going to kill you. They are prone to failure and they really wrap up the rpms when doing atleast 65 or so. You have certain issues that you coudl probally address here. Why are you wanting to get rid of it. If you address the oil issue you could definately get more but honestly i think with the problems you have and with the AT. Your lucky to get 700. But thats my opinion. Buy the way, pics help.

It depends on how plentiful Subarus are in your area. Around here your wagon would bring $1000 if it was in Really Good condition Cosmetically and Mechanically.

The way you describe it,$300-$400. Unless it is a cream puff with a few mechanical issues, then a couple hundred more maybe.

So,it depends on how plentiful good subarus are in Anchorage.

the alaskan market may be different. down here in subaru rich areas you might get $500 for it. in non-subaru laden areas you'd be striving for $250.

you'd have to get really lucky or Alaska would need to be quite a different market to get $1,000. no way around my area.

ive bought loyale's before and would never pay 4 digits for one. and i've only looked at ones in decent running conditions with no engine/trans issues.

yeah I know in my area as long as it runs and the body is ok than it would be worth at least 1000. Definitely depends on how plentiful they are in your area

Vincent, if you want to keep driving it, replace your fuel filter...... Could be other issues, but try a new filter first..

I tried that already. I have the fuel filter and PCV replaced... as well as a drive belt which has a big crack on it :S But of no avail. I check the spark and they seems to be in good shape, no color, no oil, gap is fine. I need to somehow get the cel code but it's so darn cold out so I may just wait till it's a little warmer first.

By the way, I called a guy and he said my car worth at most $300.... he's a mechanic tho.

Anyways... we'll see
